This policy explains what personal information CondoWorks collects through this website, why we collect it, who can see it and the choices you have.
Who we are
CondoWorks is a condominium and high-rise restoration contractor at 15 Gervais Dr Unit 701, North York, ON M3C 3S2, Canada. You can reach us through our contact page or at the phone number shown on this site.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit a form, we collect the details you enter: your name, phone number, email address, the building address or city, and the description of your project. If you call us, we may note the same details.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical information in server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We also use analytics tools that collect information about how visitors use the site, including pages viewed, approximate location, device type and referring page.
How we use your information
- To respond to your request, call you back and prepare a quote or assessment.
- To arrange site visits and carry out restoration work you ask us to do.
- To keep records of enquiries and projects, including for insurance claims you ask us to support.
- To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
- To protect the site against spam and misuse.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses Google Analytics to measure visits and Microsoft Clarity to understand how pages are used, including through anonymized session recordings and heatmaps. These services may set cookies or similar identifiers. We mark the form areas of our pages so that text you type into them is masked from session recordings. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use a browser extension that blocks analytics, and the site will still work.
Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:
- service providers who help us run the site and our business, such as our web hosting provider and the analytics providers named above;
- insurers, adjusters, property managers or condominium corporations, but only when your project involves them and you ask us to, or where the work requires it;
- authorities where the law requires us to.
Some of these providers store or process data outside Canada, including in the United States, so the information may be subject to the laws of those countries.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and project records for as long as needed to respond to you, carry out the work, meet legal and insurance requirements and resolve disputes, and then delete or anonymize them. Analytics data is kept according to each provider's retention settings.
Your choices and rights
By submitting a form you consent to us using the information you provide to respond to your request. You may withdraw consent at any time, and you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, subject to legal and contractual limits. To do so, contact us through the contact page or by phone. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to confirm your identity first.
Marketing messages
We use your contact details to answer your enquiry. We will not send you commercial electronic messages unless you have given consent in line with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation, and every such message will include a way to unsubscribe.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are transmitted securely. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we limit access to personal information to people who need it for the purposes above.
Children
This site is intended for adults who own, manage or live in condominiums. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Links to other sites
This site may link to or embed third-party services, such as Google Maps. Those services have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
